ADOPTION SUPPORT GROUP: This group helps support adoptive parents and those considering adoption, domestic or international, and meets the 2nd Thursday of every month. Click below to visit the Adoption Support page.

CARING FOR FRIENDS: We feed the hungry, visit the sick and handicapped... loving and serving Christ as we share our love with his forgotten children. Because of Aid For Friends services, our meals, visits and caring keep people in their home rather than be institutionalized. Volunteers cook one meal per week while preparing the dinner meal for their families. You can also be a visitor or driver. Click here to contact someone for more information

ALTAR SERVERS:

Adults:  All men and women are invited to become altar servers for funerals and special parish events. For more information, email: Ted Lamparski.
Youth: All parish children in grades 4 through 12, are invited to become youth altar servers for Sunday Masses and Holy Days.

ART AND ENVIRONMENT: This Ministry decorates the church for weekly Mass, all holidays and special occasions, enhancing the beauty of the church in order to create an artistic and prayerful environment.

BEREAVEMENT MINISTRY: In a spirit of Christian charity we offer practical help, comfort, and ongoing support to the aged, and to those experiencing a loss, suffering a terminal illness, and to those bereaved members of our community in all stages of grief. EUCHARISTIC ADORATION: Eucharistic Adoration takes place every Friday from September (after Labor Day) through May (weekend before Memorial Day), beginning at 8:00 am until Benediction at 5:00 pm.
Please consider spending one hour each week with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. If you are unable to do an full hour, consider splitting the hour with a friend, or switch every other week. For more information call Melissa at 215-997-8159, send an email to: Melissa Mussoline.

EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF HOLY COMMUNION (EMHC): Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are chosen by the pastor to assist in the distribution of the Eucharist at Mass. These Ministers also make Communion calls to the sick and shut-ins in the parish, and to local Nursing Homes. Click below to visit the EMHC page on the website.

KNIGHTS of COLUMBUS: The Rev. Robert Burns Council of Mary, Mother of the Redeemer meets regularly to foster spirituality and fellowship among the parish men and holds several fund raisers during the year.

FAMILIES WITH YOUNG CHILDREN: Join us for some faith, fun and a chance to meet other families with babies, toddlers and preschoolers. Click below to visit the Families with Young Children page.

WHITE FOOD BINS: Throughout the year, non-perishable food is collected for outreach to various parishes and local food pantries. The white food bins are located in the lobby of the parish center. These donations are delivered on a rotating basis to local recipients.
 
MMR’s PROGRAM FOR THE HOMELESS:  Parishioners make homemade casseroles for St John's Hospice (homeless shelter for men) at their convenience. The frozen casseroles can be dropped off to the church freezer (located in the parish center) at any time. Donated casseroles are delivered to St. John's Hospice once a month.

MUSIC MINISTRY: We are a very musical community please consider joining one of the following music groups:  Adult Choir, Cantors, Cherub Choir, Contemporary Music Ministry, God Squad Music Ministry, Organists/Pianists, Voices of Praise. PARISH OFFICE VOLUNTEERS: Adult office volunteers monitor the parish office front desk during the work day assisting with answering phones, writing Mass Cards and handling small projects. The volunteers also assist with preparing seasonal parish mailings. For more information, email: mmr@mmredeemer.org.

REGISTER TAPE COMMITTEE: Save your Redner’s register tapes and place them in the box in the narthex. Our committee calculates the tapes and MMR receives a percentage of the total.

REDEEMER GUILD: This group is composed of parishioners who volunteer their services to clean the church every Tuesday morning.

SCRIP: Scrip is an on-going parish fundraiser that sells gift cards for various restaurants, supermarkets and department stores. Scrip is sold before an after every Mass on the weekend and in the parish office during the week. MMR receives a percentage of the sales from select vendors, and the purchaser receives a $1.00 MMR voucher for $50 of purchase for certain vendors. When an individual collect $50 (or more) in MMR vouchers, they can be redeem them for cash twice a year during the months of January and July. For more information, email: Joann Chiavon

SENIOR ADULT MINISTRY (SAM): The ministry is open to all adults age 50+. SAM members are committed to developing a closer relationship with Jesus Christ through social and spiritual support, personal development, and opportunities to serve. For more information, email: Chris Bradley
 
ST. FRANCIS ECOLOGY COUNCIL:  The St. Francis Ecology Council focuses on environmental awareness, environmental education and stewardship of the parish grounds.

MARY'S ROSARY GARDEN:  MMR parishioners are able to memorialize their loved ones by donating a granite memorial paver to add to the Prayer Plaza in front of the grotto. Click on the link below to download a paver donation form.

USHERS: The ushers assist at Mass in seating, directing people in communion lines, arrange for parishioners to offer the gifts, take collections during Mass and distribute parish bulletins after Mass.

YOUTH MINISTRY: Our Youth Ministry is an active group of junior and senior high students involved in social, service and spiritual activities supervised by our Youth Minister and volunteer adults.
