R.C.I.A.: The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the process which gives those interested in becoming Catholic Christians the opportunity to learn more about us, and to become members of our faith community. RCIA focuses on the total formation of the person believing with the Church community, living within the Church community, praying with the Church community and serving with the Church community. This gradual development culminates in the celebration of the initiation Sacraments of Baptism (or Profession of Faith), Confirmation and the Holy Eucharist.

The introductory RCIA stages consist of a series of weekly informal discussions (called Inquiry Sessions) at which RCIA team members open their lives of faith to those expressing interest. For those who want to move forward toward full initiation, a more disciplined instructional process (called Catechesis) follows......culminating in the reception of the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, First Eucharist and Confirmation.

Inquiry sessions are held every Wednesday at 7:30 PM at the Rectory. Anyone interested in learning more about the Catholic faith is welcome.
