Math Counts

Math Counts Team

This after school activity is for Honor’s math students in grades 7 and 8 and Honor’s Math students in grade 6 who have an average of 95 or above at the end of the first trimester.

This team meets once a week beginning at the start of the second trimester from 3:30 -5:00 in order to prepare for a competition held in February for schools from Bucks and Montgomery counties. 

The team works individually and in small groups to solve challenging word problems.  New concepts are explored and patterns are developed during these sessions.

A team of 8 students are selected at the end of January to represent Mary, Mother of the Redeemer School at the all day competition in February.
